At that ...I worked in Neville House in 1986 - 1987. At that time it was the headquarters of thr Lord Chancellor's Department. I revisited it today (as iit's the 30th anniversary of the day I joined the Civil Service, I wondered about the strange looking designs on the wall (which I don't recall).
